My Kitchen Renovation

We took the wall out between the kitchen and the dining room to make it open concept!

This wall came out!

We took the bulk heads out!
Now the cabinets can go to the ceiling.
All the holes in these pictures was from our contractor to make sure he could take them out!

Love my design wall, out Batton and Board Wall made from all 4" PVC.  We painted it Sherwin Williams Bright white along with all the trim.  Walls are Sherwin Williams Olympus White (it's a gray blue).

My favorite part of the kitchen is the tile, that I designed everything around.
I am a quilter at heart so when I saw this hexagon tile by Walker Zanger I was in love! It's the quilter in me that just had to do it and boy I am I glad I waited for it.  It comes from Italy and it was back ordered during CoVid.  Well worth the wait!  The subway tile is the same as Kris used too - AKDO Essential 3" x 6" in Cloud Gloss

Classic Dove White perimeter and in our bathrooms
Lagoon Masterpiece for the island and the chimney style hood

We removed the fireplace!  I hated this fireplace.  Who thought that having it the kitchen was something that anyone would want? We NEVER used it!  So gone it went.  We added a large pantry, full depth fridge and wine bar here.  Something that made this kitchen so big and amazing.  We're glad we did it.

bye bye fireplace

Hello fridge, pantry and wine bar!

My open shelving - I used these in my bathroom too in an earlier post here!
I bought these from the Etsy Shop Ultrashelf!

There are some before and after pictures.  Thanks to Kris from Driven by Decor for her kitchen inspiration.  I pretty much did her kitchen to a T! I used the same hardware and tile and kept the same cabinet color.  I strayed a little with the hood color and had to use the hardwood floors that were available (during CoVid).  I used the lights that I loved and available appliances.  I will list my shopping list below!  Let me know if you have any questions.

Merillat Cabinets (see above)

Hardware by Amerock in Golden Champagne

Pendants by Hinkley Lighting, their Somerset Collection in Heritage Brass

Ruggable Hendesi Heriz Abalone

Faucets by Newport Brass in the Taft Collection with a finish of Satin Bronze!  They matched my hardware and Hinkley Lights as well!  Love them.

Tile - see above details Walker Zanger and AKDO subway tile

Shelfs - see above details about UltraShelf on Etsy

Sinks - Zuhne stainless steel sinks, we got them on amazon!

Countertops is QMasters from MSI Color: Blanco Arabescato

Beautiful! I absolutely love your counter tops! Mine are dark and it is really hard to clean. You can't see anything on the dark tops. Great job!
