T Shirt Quilt in Loving Memory
This is my coworker Lindsey. She lost her brother several years ago to cancer at the young age of 19. I wanted to do something for her so I asked her to bring me in his tee shirts. She finally brought them to me a few months ago and today I gave her this memory quilt. We exchanged a few tears and then hugs.
This was the picture my friend posted on her facebook page where she wrote this:
On the anniversary of my brother leaving too early I have been gifted the most amazing present. Thank you Steph for taking Rick’s shirts and putting them into something I can hold on to. I love it! The memories in each shirt tell a story and help keep the memories alive. I love you Rick!
