Me and Mom

Lost my mom today.  She was a strong and creative woman.  She had been sick with bone cancer for about 5 years.  Today she lost her battle.  We will miss her!  Much of my love of quilting comes from her teaching me how to sew at an early age.  I will carry on the tradition of quilting that she has taught me!  Love you MOM!!!!!

My mom had been on oxygen for 5 years 24/7

My dear Stephanie, I'm so sorry to hear you've lost your darling mum. I lost my mum to ovarian cancer in 2000 so my heart is with you all. I would have left this note sooner but I have been offline for 2 days due to a local fault.
I'm so glad you're carrying on the tradition of quilting. Your mum will be looking down to see your fabulous work!!
