Dale's Tail...please vote!

This is my Golden Retriever named Dale

His coat is gorgeous!  During the summer we trim him because he likes to swim in the river behind our house daily.  Last summer, I spent a couple of hundreds dollars taking him to the groomer for a trim.  This year I decided to do it myself.  I definately did it too short and I am no pro, but it will grow and in the next few weeks it will be just like the groomer did it.  Take a look at the results.

Dale's tail ~ trim or leave like this?  That is the question!

The question is: Trim his tail or leave it long?

My husband and sons think it looks funny and makes him look like a girly dog. I agree it looks funny but I love it like this. Take a look at the pics and videos below and then vote by commenting what you think I should do. I will let you know what the decision is based on your votes!
