Playing with Magic Markers...

My friend Renee came home from work to this the other day... her daughter Stella covered in magic markers.  Renee thinks her husband is still getting used to taking care of the new baby and mommy going back to work!
I am taking it easy and trying to recover from a long week in Paducah.  I went back to work on Sunday night, off tonight but meetings tomorrow.

That is so cute! And so true; he is probably still getting the hang of it. At least your friend understands. I nanny for 4 kids, including a 1 yr old and a 9 yr old with severe disabilities. Sometimes their dad gets home and wants to know why the dishes aren't done or why the middle girls' room isn't clean. As if I was sitting on the couch eating bon bons or something. :-)

Oh yeah! And it doesn't get any better than this! Oldest (old enough to know better, think about-young enough to still be game) came home from a carnival he helped paint faces at for charity. His cousing painted him a pirate's face. Red bandana on the forhead, pirate patch, huge curly mustance and goatee.

Guess what there were still shadow of Saturday morning? LOL

Get some rest. What you manage to do in 24 hrs just amazes me!

FUNNY...but I'd not be laughing if it was MY littler girl. Wonder how long it took to scrub that all off her? LOL

That is so cute. It's funny actually, because you know that at some point in a child's life they're going to do something like that. At least it wasn't on the walls.

So funny! Glad they got a picture. Two of my four did that, but not as bad, and I forgot to snap a picture.

That's hilarious, I hope those are crayola washout markers. LOL Such a cutie, how could your friend be upset.

Too cute! Thanks for the chuckle, and for reminding me that DS2 used to come home from grade school looking like that. He's very artistic. Maybe your friend's little girl will be too! :)

I hope it was not permanent marker! I never had that to happen with mine...they preferred coloring on the walls instead!

Oh my! That happened once or twice here, but mostly dd liked to color on the walls (and the doors, and the floors). After the first time of that we switched to washable everything only. :) Thank heavens for Crayola for these artistic children!

If you give a child a marker is like if you give a mouse a cookie. You just never know where it's gonna go. Cute!

Thank you for your visit recently. I really appreciate you stopping to say hello!!!!
